Why duplicate all code?

I'm just wondering if you're using Librarian anyways why would you duplicate module code?
Wouldn't it be less confusing to just run librarian-puppet install right after cloning this repo? This way you still have each module's history readily available.

Same goes for Git submodules...

Because we aren't using librarian. In our case we use git subtrees and we actually create one git to clone/build package from. So for our use case of reproducible builds in koji/copr we prefer this and also we prefer as minimal dependencies as possible.

I'm just trying to understand why code of mine is being reused (by all means feel free) and being credited for by "Automatic update" instead of having proper credits.
