We can set the default reminder in the calendar which is than used for all meetings:
For me this is set to 10 minutes before the event which is totally fine for regular events (e.g. 1 hour meetings) but for all-day events this means that I get the reminder by default at 11:50pm before the day starts. For all-day events I would prefer something different, e.g. 15 hours before (at 9:00am at the day before).

Enhance the setting to define a default reminder for "normal appointments" (not sure what would be a good name here) and for all-day events.
