Plugin Compatibility with WebAssembly (WASM) Renderer

Description

The plugin is currently not compatible with the new WebAssembly (WASM) renderer in Flutter.

Command Used

flutter build web --wasm

Error Encountered (in browser)

TargetPlatform.linux is not yet supported by the maps plugin.

i did port the underlying js interop code to the new standard. I worked in principle but there where some roadblocks from the dart/flutter side that made is tricky to debug some of the issues that remained.
