Hi, I'm Ash 👋

Engineering leader based just outside NYC. I've spent 12+ years building teams and systems at the intersection of payments infrastructure, platform engineering, and developer tools.

What I'm up to

  • 🔧 Leading platform engineering at GitHub — building foundations that power collaboration for millions of developers
  • 🤖 Interested in how AI reshapes developer workflows and tooling
  • 📚 Currently reading about engineering leadership, organizational design, and the occasional deep-dive white paper

Outside of work

  • ⚽ Former U.S. Soccer Federation match official and referee coach — it taught me more about decision-making under pressure than any engineering role
  • 🏔️ Hiking the Hudson Valley, snowboarding when I can, and chasing two kids around
